SAS and Machine Learning

 Dear readers

So happy to see SAS entering the AI ML domain and that is a big relief looking at the speed it was getting outdated and noticeable reduction in jobs.

So according to the SAS website, SAS has come up with tools to achieve the following:

  • Interactive programming in a web-based development environment
  • Intelligent automation
  • Natural language generation
  • Embedded support for Python & R language
  • Deep learning with Python (DLPy)
  • SAS® procedures (PROCs) & CAS actions
  • Highly scalable, distributed in-memory analytical processing
  • Model development with modern machine learning algorithms
I am going to review some of these capabilities and will get back to you in further posts. Meanwhile you can also direct me to some of the features you have been using and pros and cons of each.
Our jobs have been made relevant again, Phew..!! :)
